Although the thought of my children havin...Exactly. Although the thought of my children having to have suffered traumatic experiences, some of which one should never experience in their lifetime, I am truly grateful that your choices of processing everything has led you to this higher level of thinking – of enlightenment.

“Character” is an amalgamation of structures of the personality – and several things shape personality: not only our environment, but there are biological/evolutionary influences (maybe genetic codes you were born with); social influences, and what you observed and took on as your own; and other cognitive and behavioral aspects of shaping and forming personality. But it does always seems that it takes some type of adversity (though not necessarily “deep pain” or violence for some) that either forces us into an automatic reflexive reactionary response, or we take that opportunity to choose HOW we react, which, either way will shape a person into their “being.” That is the first step to evolving into a higher being, a higher state of consciousness, and the first step to enlightenment: self-analysis. There are those who probably go through this process, but maybe not as publicly as some and perhaps we’re not aware. I go on the assumption that everyone is on their way to enlightenment, but perhaps just not at the same point…and everyone has their own “perception.”

A couple of thoughts I would like to pose: where do we go from here? What happens when we really “know thyself”??

I just want you to know that I’m very proud of who you are at this point in time and who you are becoming.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05805147687870238040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3637822329200075533.post-34917877683084023552009-04-02T21:21:00.000-07:002009-04-02T21:21:00.000-07:00You are amazing and I love you!
